So I have a confession to make, I’m stupid and nice! In this particular case all of the above apply to me. I bought the X100F last year as an allround, easy to carry and excellent image quality camera. The one that you always have in your hand or at least near you. After the summer and winter started, I got the feeling the X100F just sat on the shelf, not doing anything. In my mind, that was a waist and lusting for more bokeh shots, I convinced myself that I needed the 23mmF1.4. So I traded in the X100F for the 23mmF1.4 and the X-T3 and some spare cash, obviously.Read More
This time beginning of autumn, actually a really nice Indian summer evening, I got out after work and ended up round 18:00h in the dunes. Together with the Fujifilm X-T2 and Fujinon XF 100-400mm lens and some DJI Mavic Air drone shots, I was pretty happy hiking through the dunes at Vogelenzang. I have been here before, so I knew what I was looking for.Read More
I wanted to share this post as I was just cycling around my home town through the meadows and saw plenty of birds that arrived for the summer here. As wel as many hares and obviously the famous dutch cows and farm land.
As you can see nature is everywhere, especially in spring, just go out and explore. Maybe not all is as exciting as being out in the wilderness, but even here in the urban western part of the Netherlands, you will find interesting animals, compositions and therefor photos!Read More
The Zeeland Bridge was built between 1963 and 1965. At the time of its completion, it was the longest bridge of Europe. It has a total length of 5,022 metres, and consists of 48 spans of 95 metres, 2 spans of 72.5 metres and a movable bridge with a width of 40 metres.
The province of Zeeland borrowed the money for the construction of the bridge. The loan was repaid by levying tolls for the first 24 years.

After 5 days in San Francisco it was time to pack and head towards Yosemite National Park. The drive it self was quite boring, but when entering the park and especially Yosemite Valley we were amazed. The grand wild river, the landscape and the mighty El Capitan. That huge monolith rock formation is just amazing!Read More
After the road trip to Santa Cruz the weather changed and the sun was replaced by mist and rain. A perfect time to visit the nearby Redwood Regional Park. We hiked along a nice trail and in the forest forgot about the not so great weather.Read More
The beginning of September 2016, just a few days left, will the X-T2 be delivered?
It’s time, the first week of September, just a few days left before Marc and I take a plane to Iceland. For me this is the second time visiting Iceland. The first time was in 2011 and I was totally captivated by the landscape, extreme weather and ever changing conditions.
