Trying to get out of the rat race with some grasslands birding

It has been a while, more than a while actually. I have been in the rat race so to call, too much stuff going on, not so much attention for photography. I am trying to turn that around. And you need to start somewhere. So here I am. In my “backyard” again.
It has been very quiet with birds in my area. Not sure why? Maybe I am less aware due to not being out photographing. Save to say is that I missed going out with the camera. So these photos might not be the best ever, but it’s a new start. Hopefully I can keep up my appearances.
