So I have a few blogs ready, with some epic light in the dunes and some nice birds as well. For now I want to continue on the fact that there are more birds in your neighbourhood than you think. I went out again to the same area as the last blog to capture again some birds. This time is was raining (more a slight drizzle) and that made for my next point to get right, namely photographing birds in the rain. I didn't get that really perfect shot, but I’m getting there.

I went out to the same area where I last time did not see my long last friend, the Stonechat. She is always there on the fence protecting her territory. This time she was there again, checking me out and flying back and forth trying to figure out what I was doing there.

This behaviour that lasted for a good 20 minutes gave me enough time to get some nice shots. In the end she flew off and the rain was really pouring down, so I decided it was quits for now. Also managed to get two female Pheasants and a Swan, both out in the rain.

For now there you have it! All shot with the Sony combo! And don’t hesitate to leave a comment or an e-mail. Click to view larger in a light box and navigate with mouse or arrow keys. Enjoy!
